Author Guidelines

You are invited to start cooperation with the scientific journal ‘Logistics and Transport’ issued by the International University of logistics and Transport in Wroclaw, Poland.

Our journal is listed in scientific journals register which is run by:

the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland)13 points.

All materials delivered to the editorial office must be in English. If a text is in Polish and the author wishes the editorial office to translate it, he/she must clearly state so. All charges resulting from the translation shall be borne by the author. The time needed for the article to be published may be prolonged due to translation.

The journal is published black-and-white. Therefore all graphic elements included in articles must be limited to shades of grey and black. If an article includes elements that may become unclear while replacing colours corresponding to grey shades, such an article will sent back to the author as the editorial office does not interfere with the articles contents.

Once the author sends the article to the editorial office, he/she agrees for his/her name, the title and the abstract to be available on the journal’s website. The author also agrees that after 1 year for the article being published, it will be widely available, free of charge at the journal’s website. Any breach from that rule must be justified before the article is sent to the editorial office and must be preceded by a separate permission from the editor-in-chief.

We are very much concerned with the scientific honesty and reliability:

  • In case there is more than one author, it is required that the contribution of all authors is revealed ( their affiliation and contribution must be given, the author of the concept, assumptions for methods etc. which were used while working on the paper).
  • The person who submits the paper is responsible for providing names of the authors and/or any sources used for the paper.
  • Any case of dishonesty will be reported to institutions employing authors.
  • In case the research used for the article has been financed by any institution, the financing sources must be provided.
  • Any case of dishonesty will be registered and archived in the editorial office and may be revealed in justified circumstances.

The authors of all publications in the scientific journal ‘Logistics and Trasnport’ will not receive any remuneration. Any breach from that rule must be justified before the article is sent to the editorial office and must be preceded by a separate permission from the editor-in-chief.

Each author whose article has been published in ‘Logistics and Transport’ will receive a complimentary copy of the issue with his/her article, which can be picked up in person or which might be mailed to a given address.

Additionally, the authors of published articles receive access to a temporary online subscription (current issue and earlier).
