Analysis of the market of logistic services in Europe

Abstract

The authors of the article focus on the analysis of the European market of the logistics services. There are certain criteria taken under consideration during the evaluation process: revenue, the rate of employment, basic activity sector and the geographical region of the activity of the largest logistics operators in Europe. The paper will allow us to obtain a transparent picture of the logistics operators market simply by the comparison of the data in different configurations and combinations of that same market, as well as by the description of the ten largest operators out of a group of top thirty "billionaire" companies of the European logistics market.
